Application Process

1. Fill Out an Application Form

Filling out an adoption application is the fastest way to start the process. This form helps us determine if our cats are a good match for your home.

2. We’ll Email You — Ask Questions if Needed

Once we receive your application, we’ll email you. This is the time to ask any important questions such as about genetic health screening, pedigree, care requirements, or to request additional photos/videos.

We genetically screen all our breeding cats using a reputable lab — and perform heart (HCM) screening via echocardiogram before breeding. If you’d like documentation, we’re happy to provide it.

3. Submit a Deposit to Join the Litter Waitlist

We collect a deposit per litter to keep our wait-list manageable and to guarantee you a kitten from the parents you requested. You may transfer your deposit to another upcoming litter before reservations, if needed (conditions apply).

4. Reserve Your Kitten (Around 7–10 Weeks Old)

When kittens reach 7–10 weeks old they become available for reservation. Kittens tagged as “Option for me” are still under evaluation for potential breeding and not yet available for reservation.

After waitlist reservations are allocated, any remaining kittens are offered to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis. Because we care about matching kittens to the right homes, not every applicant will get a kitten.

5. Receive Pictures and Updates — Be Patient

We’ll send regular photos and video updates of your reserved kitten — typically about once a week — so you can watch them grow while waiting. We appreciate your patience: our priority is the health, socialization, and safety of our kittens.

6. Prepare for Your Kitten — Supplies & Research

Once your kitten is reserved, it’s time to prepare. This includes buying essentials such as food, carrier, water/food bowls, litter and litter box, bed, toys, scratching posts or towers, and more. We encourage doing some research and preparing everything before pickup day.

7. Sign Required Contracts

Before pickup, you will sign a “Spay/Neuter & Care Agreement” (unless you’re approved for breeding — which must be specified in your application). On pickup day you’ll also sign a Sales Contract, which includes health guarantees, care requirements, and legal terms.

We will send a sample contract when you’re approved so you can review it ahead of time.

8. Pickup Day

On the pickup day we will meet you at an agreed public location with your new kitten. Please bring a secure carrier, food, water, and litter box (especially for long trips) to make the journey safe and comfortable for your kitten.

If you live farther away than our usual meet-up area, we can discuss special arrangements.

9. Stay in Touch — We Love Updates

We care deeply about where our kittens go. Please keep us posted after adoption — send photos, ask questions, and let us know how your kitty is doing. Your long-term happiness and the welfare of the cat are important to us.
